From Farm to Future: Missouri Corn Powers Clean Energy & AI Growth

Brown Energy Solutions (BEST) launches a game-changing initiative to turn Missouri ethanol into carbon-negative hydrogen and electricity—stabilizing farm economies while fueling AI, data centers, and sustainable agriculture.

BEST’s first flagship site is already in development in Potosi, where BEST is partnering with Flexible Energy Solution (FLEX), H2O Technologies, and BAAC Construction to deliver a full-stack energy and infrastructure hub supporting AI data centers, community development, and food security. According to Amy Eisenbeis, EVP of H2O Technologies, the Washington County IDA is fast-tracking access to land, rail, and incentives, saying the project meets critical infrastructure and economic development goals.

Key Highlights

🌽 Farm-to-Power Revolution: HyEn+ technology converts local ethanol into clean hydrogen, heat, and biogenic CO₂—with a carbon intensity of -37gCO₂eq/MJ (verified).
⚡ AI & Industry Fuel: Modular, containerized systems deliver on-site power for data centers, manufacturing, and closed-loop farming—deployable in months, not years.
🏗️ Jobs & Training: Partnerships with Ranken Technical College and Washington County IDA fast-track workforce development and infrastructure.
🌱 AgTech Boost: Potosi flagship site integrates hydrogen-powered greenhouses (vertical/orbital farming) and waste-heat reuse for chemical-free food production.

“We’re not pitching potential. We’re deploying real systems with real results.”
— Ray Brown, CEO of BEST
